It is important to understand that an Electronic Service Address (ESA) processes remittance data only - it has nothing to do with processing contribution payments to your SMSF. If your employer is receiving an error when trying to remit a contribution to your SMSF and has confirmed they are definitely using the ESA of CLICKSUPER (all in capital letters, no spaces), your employer should clarify the error with their superannuation provider - not ClickSuper.
We advise entering the ABN of your SMSF into the Superfund Lookup website administered by the ATO to see whether your superfund is currently regulated. If your SMSF is not regulated, this usually occurs because returns haven't been submitted to the ATO - and this is unrelated to ClickSuper and ESAs in general. Being an unregulated SMSF will impact on your ability to receive contributions.

If your superfund is regulated but an error is being received, your employer will need to clarify with their superannuation provider - we unfortunately cannot provide support for payroll systems which we have no visibility on.
